Brief Introduction:
GLR-20 resin is a modified resorcinol-formaldehyde resin. by aralkylation reaction. It contains no free formaldehyde and has low vapor presure to reduce the volatile smog and loss of resorcinol when the processing temperature is above 150.
GLR-20 resin leads to adhesion action via reacting with the methylene donors, such as adhesive RA or RA-65, GLR806, and 2-nitro-2-methyl-1-propyl alcohol to form a thermoset resin.

Application Instruction:
GLR-20 resin can be used as resorcinol in resorcinol-formaldehyde-silica adehesive system and leads to adhesion action via reacting with methylene donor.It is widely used for the adhesion between various rubbers and textile or brass-plated steel cords. GLR-20 resin can also be used as additive of phenolic resin to reduce mixing time and decrease processing temperature. Its applications include various resins, sand-paper, grinding wheel, clutch plate and ply wood adhesive etc..
2∼5 phr of GLR-20 is suggested to be used with 2∼5 phr of adhesive RA,RA-65,GLR-806 or other methylene donor. It should be noted that GLR-20 resin doesnt work without methylene donor.

Package, Storage and Shipment:
GLR-20 resin is packed in a paper bag lined with plastics bag. The net weight per bag is 25 kg.
It is necessary to check if the product package is proper or not before shipping and storing. The product should be systematically stockpiled in a dry, clean and cool warehouse to avoid to be moistured, heated and deteriorated.
The valid storage period is one year.
